
It’s not about you, or your company. It’s about the consumer, and they want relevant and engaging information NOW!
The consumer comes to your site to determine where they want to live. If you don’t have that information, they will find it somewhere else, and you will lose a sale. You need to provide them with a great user interface, that is easy to use, uncluttered, and visually appealing.
Ask yourself: can the consumer easily get around? The search function must be front and center. The design should be visually appealing, clean and simple. Your message must be crystal clear, and unified across all your social media outlets, not just your website.

During their initial search, your online consumer doesn’t want to hear about your designations, or how long you’ve been in business. The online real estate searcher will see right through statements like, “We have the best agents in town!” Your online visitors only care about learning about where they might want to live. Therefore, your real estate website must provide:
- Neighborhood Information
- Current Market Conditions
- Lots of Pictures of houses, neighborhood activities, points of interest
- Lots of video to give consumers a feel for who you are, and to also provide an additional way to learn more about neighborhoods
Finally, your client follow up must be timely, consistent and professional.
